Richard’s Ritings – one hundred nine

It is way too early to think about a Presidential candidate, but all the media likes to buzz like the devil, even this early, so why not me.

Chris Christie’s hour and a half news conference, plus his apology, plus his honesty to the letter, has elevated him to my pick for the next President of the United States.

I hear all the static you do, mostly about all the things he is NOT.

Let me try to explain all that so you can understand it.

My first test is for everyone who is married, raise your hand if you believe in one hundred percent of everything your spouse not only says, but does.

Seeing NO HANDS I will continue my case.

Editorials like the one we read in the Hawk Eye recently are run because the “talking points” of the Democrats have been sent to the Hawk Eye with specific instructions, I suspect, to make sure this gets on the front page, if not the editorial page. The reason being, the D’s want to destroy ANY prospective candidate for President before the person can even say they are a candidate.

That, my friends, has been the operating system of the D’s for a number of years.

How about Sarah Palin? She straightened out the worst corruption at the State level  I have ever heard of. Lies, bribery, just about everything except murder, and she got the problems solved and the residents of Alaska will get a check pretty quick for about six hundred dollars per person (although that may be more now) and it comes once a year. They RECEIVE money at tax time in Alaska!

And if you are a tv watcher you will notice that every time anyone in the R party who acts like they would like to run for President, well, you can be assured they will be investigated all the way back to grade school, and the main stream media, who all of us that ever toiled in the information business are ashamed of, well, they blast it and blast it whether it is true or not.

I gotta admit, the fact that Gov. Christie is clean as a whistle should give everyone renewed faith in a government that has come apart at the seams under President Obama.

I have been involved in politics since FDR was President and I cannot remember any President who was such a liar and just runs all over the people of the United States.

He pays no attention to the rules, the past precedents or even the constitution. It is simply horrible.

But come 2016, I expect all those getting a handout from Uncle Sam and those who just don’t care, to pull the “D” lever and we will have another four years. I don’t think you can make it miserable enough on the folks in the U. S. to change their mind.

Here are a few examples of our President and his most disastrous year (2013) that any President in my lifetime has ever had – take a look.

The website is simple and user-friendly”.

Even members of Congress were vexed by Obamacare’s glitches.

If you like your plan you can keep your plan”.

Obamacare was designed to throw people off their private plans and into government-run exchanges where they would be made to overpay, forced to purchase services they don’t need, as a way to subsidize others.

If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”.

UPS employees spouses are forced to seek out new plans on the individual market, which will not include their usual MD.

Premiums will fall by as much as $2500 per family”.

Obamacare will actually jack up underlying insurance rates for young men by an average of 97 to 99 percent and for young women by an average of 55 to 62 percent.

Obamacare won’t add one dime to our deficits”.

Even the Government Accountability Office’s report of February 26, 2013, projected Obamacare will increase the long-term federal deficit by 6.2 trillion dollars.

The ACA will cost around $900 billion over 10 years”.

A Congressional Budget Office’s report puts the REAL price tag more around the area of 1.8 trillion dollars.

Families making less than $250,000 won’t see any form of tax increase”.

Obamacare contains 18 separate tax hikes, fees, and penalties, many of which will impact the middle class.

The ACA will keep healthcare costs down”.

But it’s just not so, according to senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and American Enterprise Institute.

You have a deadline and a mandate”.

Squishy deadlines and “fixes” have been a hallmark of Obamacare almost from the start. It looks now like the Supreme Court will decide if the President can change the law as he sees fit.

Sure, the national exchange is glitchy, but the state sites are working great”.

The state-run enrollment operations have had technological delays and low sign-up levels. Several states even replaced top executives.

So there you have it, the ten worst lies of 2013 and NOT ONE was uttered by Gov. Christie.

And in the Hawk Eye editorial I copy – “There was not immediate evidence Christie was involved, and he denied any part in the plot. But he pays the price in bad press, DESERVEDLY SO, FOR EMPLOYING IDIOTS”.

Way to go – our Hawk Eye should follow their own advice!
